The Overlay.TV MySpace App

We are pleased to announce to the hundred million plus users of MySpace that you can now showcase Overlay.TV on your MySpace profile, using the Overlay.TV MySpace application. Host one Overlay, or create a list of Overlays that have been individually selected by you. You don’t even have to be an Overlay.TV member to use the application. Simply add the application and then add the URLs of any of Overlays you like found on Overlay.TV.If you would like to make a more personal connection to your MySpace community, then sign-up to Overlay.TV to create and post your own Overlays on your MySpace page. You know your community better than anyone else. Let your inner producer out, and soon you’ll find Overlay.TV fast becoming your favorite MySpace application. Only Overlay.TV gives you the flexibility to add rich interactive online video content to your profile just the way you want it.
Here's how to add the Overlay.TV MySpace application to your page:
Step 1: Sign into your profile on my space.
Step 2: Click on “Get Apps” inside the application window on your profile page.
Step 3: Type in “Overlay.TV” in the Search Apps field (top right of page) and click search.
Step 4: Click on the Overlay.TV logo in the results and then click on “Install this Application.”
A new window will appear with profile preferences. To install click “Add.”
Here's how to use the app to add Overlays to your MySpace page:
Step 1: Sign into your profile on my space.
Step 2: Click on Overlay.TV inside the application window on your profile page.
Step 3: Go to Overlay.TV and find the Overlay you want to showcase and copy the URL (either from the browser window, or from the SHARE tab on the player).
Step 4: Return to the Overlay.TV MySpace application and paste in the URL in the window and click “Add Overlay.” Repeat steps 3 and 4 as many times as you want to add more Overlays.
Step 5: You can select the Overlay that will play in your player by clicking on “MAKE DEFAULT” below the thumbnail of the Overlay. This will remain your default Overlay in the player until you decide to change it. The remainder of the Overlays will appear as clickable thumbnails below the player. You will know which Overlay is the default, as the blue “MAKE DEFAULT” will be missing. To delete an Overlay from the application click on the "-" circle in the lower right corner of each thumbnail.
